The centerpiece of Falk Lab School's 2020 Pitt Day of Giving campaign was a drive to raise funds to purchase a Charlie Cart—a mobile, all-in-one kitchen enabling students to learn about food and cooking anywhere in the school.

In true Falk fashion, the Charlie Cart has opened the door to all kinds of fun and educational activities, from cooking quesadillas with our Spanish teacher to learning about body systems to inventing our own cookie recipes and teaming up with buddies from a different age group to prepare—and sample—our creations.

Since its introduction in 2020, the Charlie Cart has been a wonderful addition to Falk. It's a perfect example of how much giving from our community can make a difference in the lives of current and future Falk students.
