One of this school year's most exciting additions at Falk Lab School has been the arrival of our Anji Play materials, purchased with the generous support of the Falk community during the 2022 Pitt Day of Giving campaign.

The spirit of Anji Play and its "True Play" ethos, which emphasizes a child-centered approach to play that empowers children to imagine and construct their own play spaces, is an ideal fit with Falk's philosophy.

From the moment our Anji Play materials—which include boxes, tubes, ladders, planks, and mats—arrived, Falk students have been drawn to the lower terrace, where they've created an ever-changing array of configurations and arrangements to suit their imaginations.
