The Fanny Edel Falk Laboratory School was built in 1931 with gifts provided to the University of Pittsburgh by Pittsburgh’s Falk family, in memory of Fanny Edel Falk.
Philanthropy is at the root of Falk.
Philanthropic support provides Falk Laboratory School with the resources necessary to provide a learning environment that is grounded in community, diversity, progressive and experiential education, individualized instruction and a low teacher-student ratio.
When you make a gift of any size to Falk, you join a community of parents, alumni, and friends who ensure that we can provide each child with an outstanding education. These contributions allow Falk to continue to attract and retain the best teachers, access updated technology equipment, provide professional development to foster faculty creativity and expertise, provide students with scholarship assistance thus keeping our doors open to a diverse community of learners, and to implement programs that support a broad, and vibrant educational experience.
Whether you are an alumnus, friend, or parent of a Falk student, you know that Falk School instills in students a lifelong love of intellectual, social, and creative endeavors. A sense of self, a sense of place, and lifelong friendships support our students as they move through life.
Your participation inspires other donors and indicates the value you place on the Falk experience. Every gift makes a difference and every gift, no matter the size, is appreciated.
Please join us in the Falk tradition by making your philanthropic gift today.
