Location
With panoramic views overlooking the neighborhoods of Oakland, Shadyside, East Liberty, Squirrel Hill, and the campuses of the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon, Falk School is located on the University of Pittsburgh’s upper campus across from the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System in Oakland. Opportunities
Falk School offers educational opportunities for kindergarten through grade eight, including optional Extended Day morning and afternoon programs, voice and instrument lessons, Extended Day clubs and activities, and middle school intramural sports.

School Facilities
Upon entering Falk School, one immediately notices the natural lighting and spectacular views. Open spaces were designed at each level to provide project areas. Ample space exists to display children’s work. The school's facilities include two visual arts studios, multiple performing arts spaces, a technology lab, a middle school science lab, a nature trail with outdoor instructional areas, a gymnasium, several outdoor recreational areas, and a library with more than 16,000 volumes and online resources.
Curriculum
Art, technology, Spanish, language arts, library, mathematics, music, physical education, science, social studies, yoga, and health and wellness are included in the curriculum in all grades.
Extracurricular Activities
Activities include voice and instrument lessons; clubs such as chess, robotics, math, and creative writing; and sports such as basketball, cross-country, soccer, and tennis.
University Access
Falk School has ready access to the resources of the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, and Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh.
